There are several fundamental differences between a yacht and a catamaran. The first is stability on the water. A catamaran is stable and easier to control, has a wide design and does not roll while sailing. Therefore, this option is perfect for beginners and those who are going on a yacht cruise for the first time. At the same time, extreme sports enthusiasts prefer a yacht that tilts more than 5°. It is dynamic, maneuverable, easier to control, and the price of renting a yacht is usually lower than a catamaran. Many of those who have spent their vacation on a yacht at least once will never exchange such a vacation for any other. But the choice, of course, is yours. If you have a small youth company, choose any option. For families with children and those who seek maximum comfort, we recommend choosing a catamaran.
Payment is made in euros or in hryvnias at the tour operator’s rate.
You can book a tour for a third party.
In order to charter a yacht, you will need a skipper’s license that allows you to sail this vessel in this region, for example: IYT, RYA, MYA, ISSA, or any skipper’s license valid in the country of visit. Attention: If you have just recently received your license, you should not tempt fate and take control of the boat on your own – take a few trips with an experienced captain, gain some experience. The sea is not something to be trifled with.
As a standard, the charter starts and ends on Saturday. Thus, you receive the boat on Saturday afternoon and return it a week later in the early morning. It is worth noting that most charter companies strictly recommend that you hand the yacht back on Friday evening.
Currently, boats from 26 to 62 feet are available for charter, with a capacity of 2 to 13 people. Just decide on the number of people and leave the rest to the manager.
There are three types of vessels available for charter: sailing monohulls, sailing catamarans, and motor yachts.
Usually, the base price includes the rental of the boat itself. Additional options such as skipper and hostess services, outboard motor, SUP rental, electric grill, etc., are paid additionally.
Skipper services on average cost 100-150 euros/day + meals. Perhaps a little more or less depending on which yacht you choose. Most likely, you or someone you know has a skipper, but if not, we can help. We have a list of trusted partner skippers with experience in sailing in different yachting regions.
If you want to fully enjoy your vacation without worrying about what to cook for breakfast, hire a hostess. This is a team member who is called upon to keep the yacht in order and help the crew (passengers) with any issues related to the boat and the organization of everyday life. The hostess can also act as a cook.
Before setting off on a trip, the skipper must make sure that the yacht is fully operational and ready to take on board the crew. Acceptance is a comprehensive inspection of the vessel, all the equipment, documents, and details worthy of attention. After the skipper is convinced that the yacht is fully compliant, he will sign the documents, and the crew will be taken on board.
No, if you hire a captain, you don’t need any experience. All you need is your suggestions on the route and organizational issues.
Children and yachts are fully compatible. Of course, it all depends on the child’s personality, how active he or she is, and so on, but in most cases, children like yachting. The most dangerous thing in this situation (for the parent’s wallet) is that most likely your child will want to enroll in a sailing school right after the trip.
The charter company needs to be sure that you will not damage the expensive yacht you have rented, and if you do, you will reimburse the cost of repairs. For this purpose, the crew is charged a security deposit, which is returned in full if the week has passed without any breakdowns. If you break any part of the yacht, equipment, or cause physical damage to the boat and are unable to fix it, the amount for repairs will be deducted from the deposit.
The Yacht Tour Includes:
Additional Costs:
The charter price includes the charter of the yacht and its standard equipment, as well as the first and last mooring in the home marina.
The price does not include: fuel, additional equipment and services, moorings, meals, transfers, personal medical insurance, airfare.
Fuel consumption largely depends on the type of vessel and your transitions. If you are renting a motor yacht, you need to specify in advance the type of engine and fuel consumption per hour depending on the speed. If you are renting a sailing yacht, then everything will depend on how often you will use the sails.
On average, a medium-sized yacht of 40-50 feet consumes about 5 liters of diesel fuel per hour. According to our experience, the fuel budget for a weekly charter of a sailing yacht is usually about 150 euros. We remind you that the yacht is chartered with full tanks, and you must return it also refueled.

All yachts rented by charter companies are insured, but you and all team members will need to take out travel medical insurance (for active sports).
A deposit of 50% of the total charter cost is paid by bank transfer at the time of signing the Charter Agreement. This confirms your booking.
The remaining 50%, plus APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance), taxes, shipping/return charges and any additional agreed upon fees are paid by bank transfer one month prior to the start of the charter.
Children are welcome on most yachts and many are equipped for children.
However, some yachts may require a minimum age and a babysitter on board during the charter.
The crew cannot provide supervision for children. If you will have children on board, please inform your broker.
Most yachts do not allow smoking indoors. However, please check with us as the policy may vary.
For safety reasons, smoking in cabins and bathrooms is prohibited on all yachts.
Some yachts allow smoking in designated outdoor areas.
You should hire a professional skipper if you are inexperienced or do not have a license to sail.
