The most picturesque bays in Turkey are located in Marmaris and Fethiye. Sparks Life invites you on a cruise in “little Greece”, which is what many tourists call the Aegean coast of Turkey. This vacation is for people who are ready to exchange measured lying by the pool with trips for lunch and dinner for vivid impressions, beautiful landscapes and a sea of emotions.
In this area, tourists are surrounded by the azure sea and the outlines of the mountains, instead of the usual tourist infrastructure of hotels. Having been here, you will be convinced from your own experience that even in Turkey, known up and down, there are such unexplored corners.
Cruise plan
We will make our trip on a comfortable yacht, which has everything for a comfortable and safe rest.
Day 1
We pick up the yacht and check in on board in Marmaris, around 15.30. Today we will have dinner and overnight at the local marina. Previously, this area was called Fiskos. Here you can see the palace of Marmaris, rebuilt in the second half of the 16th century. There are also ruins of ancient times, a mosque and a caravanserai, whose walls still remember the Ottoman Empire.
Day 2
Our route starts from the Ekinchik harbor. This is a very popular stop for ships. The picturesque bay is surrounded by majestic mountains and pine trees and is perfectly protected from the prevailing winds. If you wish, you can visit Dalian. This city is famous for its mass of historical sights, mud baths. And on the very nearby beach called Isuzu, you can see giant turtles.
Day 3
Today our yacht will anchor next to the Tersane Island, which was formerly called the “Shipyard Island” due to the fact that ships were built in small bays of the area. The next on the course will be the Red Island or Kyzylada. This area is called so because in the sunbeams of the sunset, sand and pebbles on the beaches acquire a beautiful, reddish hue.
Then we will visit the Fethiye Bay, which in the past was also the site of the Ottoman and Byzantine shipyards. A little later, our ship will arrive at the bay of Cleopatra (Monastir). We will spend the night in Kyzyl-Burun.
Day 4
Today will be dedicated to Fethiye. In ancient times the city was called Telmessos. The area is located in a semicircle in the length of the bay, protected by 12 islands. You can walk to the very heart of the city or head to Oludeniz and Salykent. We will stay overnight in Fethiye.
Day 5
Our current route is directed towards the Gocek Islands. Then we will go to the Yasik Islands. These tiny islets are so small that they don’t have individual names. The lagoon has the largest swimming pool and a cozy beach.
Day 6
Today we will go to Bedri Rahmi Bay, which is named after the famous Turkish artist. Our yacht will then sail to Domuz Island, where we will anchor to enjoy a swim in the azure, crystal clear waters. We will have dinner and overnight in Aga Liman.
Day 7
On the seventh day of our cruise, we will visit the most beautiful bays of Kadirga, Turunc and Chenet Island. At each of the parking lots, you can swim in clear water and soak up the gentle sun. In the evening, hospitable night Marmaris will open its hospitable arms before us.
