Air travel

The first day is for meeting and getting acquainted, transferring the yacht for acceptance, conducting a briefing, and purchasing food.
We recommend that you arrive in advance, at least one day ahead of time. You will not regret spending time on the island! You will be able to fully enjoy the amazing beaches, beautiful views of nature and the ocean, taste local cuisine, and simply relax in a new environment.
The most adventurous will be able to climb the crater caldera.
You can rent a vehicle to get around the island. By the way, the prices here will be a pleasant surprise — for example, renting an Opel Corsa costs only 28 euros per day. I strongly advise against buying a moped. The average cost of lunch in a restaurant is about 7 euros.

The entire second day is devoted to exploring San Giorgio Island. This place deserves to spend a whole day there. You can travel around the territory by car – there are no problems with renting one here.
It is a fairly large island with diverse nature: huge palm trees greet you at the beach, and a little further inland, there is a fir forest. San Giorgio is also famous for the rich blue color of the ocean water, which, according to avid travelers, is rarely found anywhere else.
Our trip takes place on comfortable yachts from DUFOUR.
They are special in that they have a small wine cellar, which is constantly replenished with new supplies and locked securely at night.

The third day is marked not only by another opportunity to see the beauty of San Giorgio Island, but also to dock at the magnificent Terceira Island. We leave early in the morning, before dawn.
On the way, we will encounter real sea dragons! We will meet the dawn. The transition will be quite long, so we will be able to fully enjoy the process of sailing the yacht. The waves in the ocean are high, but gentle. If we are lucky, we will meet dolphins or whales.
If you see people on the island, be sure to approach them. The locals are surprisingly hospitable. And how many delicious treats — such incredible meat delicacies cannot be found anywhere else in the world!

Let’s set off to explore Terceira Island. Here, we will be lucky enough to see an indescribable spectacle – Tourada – a race for survival between people and bulls!
Don’t worry, the whole process is under control, but you’ll get your fill of thrills.
All along the coast are ancient ruins of forts that once defended the island. There are beautiful natural sea pools here, where the rocks cut off part of the shore from the ocean waves, forming a bay for swimming.
The whole island is at our disposal! We will have a picnic in the forest and grill meat while enjoying the view of the ocean!

We are heading to another ancient island in the Azores archipelago. We are still eager to see whales! It is worth mentioning that this is where whales can be found in their natural habitat.
Also, do not be surprised to encounter dolphins, false killer whales, and real killer whales. We leave early, before dawn.
The next island, Pico, is named after Mount Pico, an extinct volcano that formed the island.
Pico Island is famous for its many world-famous landmarks — ancient chapels and churches, the mysterious monastery of São Pedro de Alcântra, which is associated with many legends by the locals, and much more — so there is plenty to see here!

Let’s continue exploring Pico Island. This place amazes tourists with its incredible nature and fauna in coastal waters. Dolphins and huge whales often swim here, and sometimes you can even encounter rare species of sperm whales.
The foothills are home to beautiful tropical forests with stunning lakes. Near the coast, there are large coral reefs inhabited by a variety of exotic fish, octopuses, stingrays, jellyfish, and other sea creatures.
One of the architectural monuments is the Nossa Senhora da Conceição Church, built and decorated in the national style. In the city of Lajes, you can learn about the life of the local population by visiting the Baleeiros Museum.

On the last day, we make up for lost time. Local residents assured us that the best thing to see is the magnificent view of the archipelago from the top!
I suggest you slowly sail around the island, stopping periodically to swim.
Those who are interested in visiting the top of Pico can go there. You definitely won’t be bored!

The tour program and the sequence of locations along the route may change at the captain's discretion in accordance with weather conditions and for the safety of the crew.
The tour will take place aboard the Bavaria Cruiser 41 sailing yacht.
The monohull has three comfortable double cabins for six people, two separate bathrooms (toilet/shower), a lounge area, a kitchen, and a sun deck.

Yes, of course. You have the opportunity to join a group tour and book a cabin for two people or one place in a double cabin based on gender. We have a lot of people who travel alone because it’s a great way to meet new cool people who are just as charged with adventure and unforgettable experiences.
If you are one of the first to book, then you have the opportunity to book the desired cabin for yourself. The rest of the cabins are distributed among the participants according to the order of booking.
All yachts rented by charter companies are insured.
The charter company needs to be sure that you will not damage the expensive yacht you have rented, and if you do, you will reimburse the cost of repairs. For this purpose, the team is charged a security deposit, which is refunded in full if the week has passed without any breakdowns. If you break any part of the yacht, equipment, or cause physical damage to the boat and are unable to fix it, the amount for repairs will be deducted from the deposit. The amount of the security deposit is always distributed equally among all team members on board.
99% of people on the planet feel motion sickness on the 1st day of boarding because the vestibular system of a healthy person has to adapt to new conditions. Throughout the week, you will feel comfortable and adapted to the waves because we create routes where the waters are predictable and calm. However, in case of client’s anxiety, we always recommend that you take anti-seasickness pills (dramamine) with you, just in case. In addition to the pills, our captains have several effective life hacks that work perfectly every time, so put aside all your worries and get ready for the trip.
Yes, of course you can. Each yacht has life jackets for swimming, and the skipper will take you to and from the shore by boat whenever you need it.
There are no age restrictions in our group yacht tours, the only exception is children under 5 years old. However, in individual tours, where you rent a yacht purely for yourself, children of any age can be present (our youngest guests on board were children aged 5 months).
There are groups where purely adult teams gather and separate family groups where parents with children from 5 years of age book seats.
Almost all Sparks Life routes are not far from the shore, and the phone confidently catches the connection and the Internet almost all the time. Also, almost every side of the yacht is additionally equipped with a WiFi router. Check the conditions with us in advance.
Sparks Life yacht tours are given to those who booked the fastest because the number of seats on board is always limited. These are always active and very interesting people, with different professions, prosthetics, and a common thirst for new adventures and emotions. The average age of the team is from 25 to 37 years. A week before the tour, we add all the participants to the team’s general chat, where they can get acquainted with the rest of the team and the captain.
Usually, our routes are designed so that we have the opportunity to moor every evening in the marinas of different cities and islands. But if you want a more wild and secluded vacation, you can stop in deserted bays for the night and enjoy the sea and nature around you, without any fuss. Every day we go along a planned route, where we make stops for swimming, riding on hoes/kayaks, diving with flippers and masks in the open sea. We arrive at a new bay in the afternoon, in the late afternoon, and go sightseeing. Every day we have a new city and very often a sightseeing program is planned on the shore (with free time). It can be scooter/bike riding, a city walk, wine tasting, or a reserved table at a Michelin-starred restaurant.
Our tours always feature yachts no older than 5 years. Each yacht has 3 or 4 double cabins, a shower, and a toilet. A full kitchen. Additional refrigerator for sparkling wine. There is a place on board for sunbathing and parties at sunset, which allows you to fully enjoy the sails and the sea. And if you’re lucky enough to get to the destinations where Sparks Life organizes a catamaran tour, you will feel what a real luxury vacation is.
You can join us from any city. We will guide you to the place and time of gathering at the yacht marina. We can also help you find a convenient flight and organize a transfer from the airport to the yacht.
